I'm fan of Irwin TurboMax drill bits for a quite a long time. They always deliver faster speed, ease of drilling, no walking, in almost all materials that you can meet in life, except stone and ceramics. If you going to order these drill bits, please take care of the following fact: These drill bits have 4 cutting edges, instead of 2, as on usuall drill bits, so they require more torque, but lower speed. So, if you're using AC powered drill, which generally has higher RPM, but lower torque, than this drill bits is not for you. Or, if your AC drill has mechanical gear shift, shift it to lowest available speed. Optimal speed for these drill bits is around 1000rpm, and even 300-400rpm for larger diameters. Of course it will work on higher speeds also, but bits much more faster become dull or even tip broke off. Also consider, YOU CAN'T SHARPEN THEM, whatever various manufacturers of drill bit sharpeners may say!
